Loving
and life is the theme of literary creation, flowers is also the eternal theme
of photographer. In this part, my project is about the plants series, which
include flowers and leafs. In my project, I used Canon EOS 600D cameras to take
all of the photos. There are 10 photos in my project which I called ‘Flower
Fairy of love’. I had this inspiration is based on the fairy tale of the flower
fairies, flower fairies to take care of the flowers, I think she should also
find her love in flowers just because of the beautiful photos .Before shooting,
I had down some necessary preparation. In the process of taking photograph with
flowers series, the tips of light are the most important factor.In order to
highlight the dew,let flower fairy
sitting on a dew ，the shooting
needs strong sunlight. I used the Macro mode and Close-up to take these photos.
In
the first photo, the sunshine could made a clearly picture quality of the dew,
so I set F/ 6.5 to make the photo little dark. Within F/ 6.5, the background
was blurring because of focused on the leaves. During the time I shooting
the leaves,the Dew on the leaves had
drop had . I set the exposure time to
1/200 in order to catch the moment of dew drop. Since the sunshine was strong,
I use ISO100 and Focal length 55 to take
a shot.
In
the second photo, I had set F5.6 to make the subject clearly. I also focused on
the subject dew of flowers which made the background blurring. Since F/ 5.6,
the background is much more blurring than the first photo. In this photo, I set
the exposure time to 1/80 and 55mm with ISO 400.
In
this photograph, the spring came, some flowers have fully opened. dew in this
photo has Crystal clear; I had focused on the dew. I use ISO 800 higher than
other two photos since the strong sunshine. I use 55mm in order to decrease the strong sunshine’s
impact. I set the exposure time to 1/100 with F/ 5.6. At the beginning I always
failed to get a clearly photo because of hand moving, but finally succeed.
In
the fourth photo I also focused on the subject I wish to shoot, so the
background is still blurry. I set the F/ 5.6 and the exposure time to 1/100
with 55mm.In this photograph, I want to express the theme is that in morning
flower fairies woke up in the flowers ,
she stretched to greet the new day
The
next photo I choose to shoot a budding flower. I had used the camera of Canon
D600. I had focused on one of dew in order to Virtual background. On that day,
the sunshine is very strong so that I change ISO to 125. The camera set
exposure time 1/80, F/5.6 and max focal length on 55mm lens to stand out the
model.
On
photo 6, I use ISO100 with the strong
sunshine. At first, I set F/ 6.5 which
made the background a little blurry. It seemed strange. Then, I set F/ 5.6
which made the background more blurry, the exposure time 1/100 and 55mm lens.
In
the seventh photo, I focus on the one of dew on the flower. I chose a sunny day
to shot. I use spot metering mode, and chose ISO 160. Then I set the Aperture
F/5.6, the exposure time is 1/80. The lens is 55mm. As the Aperture value is
large, the background is burry. This photo shows the scene of Flower Fairy first meet with the lover ,
the male flower fairy sitting on a leaf play saxophone for lover.
On
photo 8, I set the aperture F/5.6 and the exposure time to 1/125. The ISO is
100 and lens is 55mm
Next
photo,focus on the red flower and let the background burry. I set the aperture
F/5.6 and the exposure time to 1/80and ISO320 with 55mm lens. In this photo,
the flower fairies dancing on the flowers, but she has been shotted Cupid
The
last photo. I set F/5.6 and the exposure time to 1/ 80 with 55mm lens. And I
use Pattern metering mode. Finally, I use Adobe Photoshop simply adjust the
photo.
During
the time to take photos, I searched much information. Some photos on the
internet give me many inspirations on the web and I also searched some
information about the best way to take the flower series. After taking these
photos, I had used photograph software to make the photos more beautiful. There
also many problems when I taking photos. I did several some on each photo to
meet my target. During this time, I also asked my friends who are photographers
for help to solve my problem. Even though the skill which I used during
photograph is monotonous, I have learned some through this project study, such
as light control, angle choice, focal length setting and so on. The process of
taking photo is hard but very good, especially when you got the photos are
exactly like you wish. I think I become a fan of photograph and I will take
good quality photos as much as I can in the future. On the other hand, photos
editing on the computer also practice my PS skill.I make silhouette that found
on the net integration with flowers and dew through the PS technology, which makes the
photoes showing a complete story
